1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using CleanLink ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Your use of the App is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our data practices.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

1.1 Apple App Store Terms

These Terms are between you and CleanLink, not Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. To the extent not overridden by these Terms, your use of the App is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (LAEULA).

2. Description of Service

CleanLink is a mobile application that removes tracking parameters from URLs to protect your privacy. The App processes URLs locally on your device and does not store or transmit your URLs to our servers, except when resolving URL shorteners (e.g., bit.ly, t.co) which requires minimal network requests.

The App offers both free and premium subscription tiers:

  • Free Tier: Limited number of URL cleanings per period
  • Premium Tier: Unlimited URL cleanings and access to all features

3. User Accounts and Registration

You may use the App without creating an account. However, to access premium features and maintain your subscription across devices, the App creates a device-based account using a unique device identifier.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and any information stored on it.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Subscription Plans

CleanLink offers subscription plans with different billing periods (weekly, monthly, annual). Subscription prices and features are displayed in the App and may vary by region.

4.2 Free Trials

Some subscription plans may include a free trial period. At the end of the free trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.

4.3 Payment Processing

Payments are processed through the Apple App Store. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to Apple's payment terms and conditions. We do not store or have access to your payment information.

4.4 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple App Store account settings or through the App's subscription management interface.

4.5 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's refund policy. We do not process refunds directly. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact Apple Support or use the App's subscription management interface.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App to transmit any viruses, malware, or harmful code
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
  • Use automated systems to access the App in a manner that sends more requests than a human could reasonably produce
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content, is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our express written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. While we strive to provide accurate URL cleaning, we cannot guarantee that all tracking parameters will be removed in every case.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for your subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App for violation of these Terms or where required by law. We will provide notice when reasonably possible, except in cases of serious violations or legal requirements.

You may stop using the App at any time. Canceling your subscription will end your access to premium features at the end of your current billing period.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
